“One day, the guys from the production team come into my office with a proposal: why not replace the plastic used for our packaging with paper? They remind me that just 44% of plastic is properly disposed of, but only 16% of this is actually recycled to create new plastic objects, while the remainder ends up in incinerators.
According to the data, paper packaging is more expensive than plastic.
On the other hand, they argue that switching to this new solution would make our packaging totally reusable and recyclable.
Their arguments make me reflect that entrepreneurs must reduce costs, but always with a look to our future… especially if their actions will make it better.
And therefore I think that those guys, standing in front of me, are right because the Planet is also involved in every process that affects life, including business…
Hence, proposal accepted!”
