Modular camera, designed to add that extra “quid” that other proposals cannot afford. Targa 706 was created to make its proposal unique, thanks to the possibility of installing one or more intelligent video analysis algorithms on board the camera.
Modularity
What differentiates this city security camera from those on the market, in particular for urban video surveillance and territorial control, is the possibility of customizing it to offer improved technical elements, through the integration of one or more special intelligent video analysis algorithms such as: wrong-way vehicles, stationary vehicle, smoke/fire and helmet presence/absence. These optional algorithms can also be inserted at a later time via a remote firmware update. This makes the Selea camera an expandable device and technologically capable of renewing itself (green) to meet the new needs of the customer: a solution that offers advantages to the entire public administration supply chain in the field of urban security, investigations and reports of vehicle theft for effective prevention and repression of crimes.

OCR sensor
For single-lane recognition of license plates, the camera is equipped with a 2.3 Mpx optical sensor with a 5-55 mm varifocal lens. Single-lane recognition allows for very high accuracy recognition, higher than any other solution.
Context sensor
In addition to the license plate reading sensor, the camera is equipped with a second 2 Mpx Sony Night Vision high-sensitivity, high-definition sensor for color context image capture.Vehicles driving at night do not show trail effects.
Subject privacy
Whether for those who want to comply with the GDPR on privacy, or for those who need to show images to third parties, the ‘Subject Privacy’ function allows you to blur all those subjects, stationary or moving, that have nothing to do with the violated or recognized vehicle. The peculiarity of the Selea algorithm is that it blurs only the sensitive elements (people, motorcycles, bicycles and moving or stationary vehicles) leaving the rest of the context image intact.
Accuracy
Selea not only states the types of algorithms integrated but also states their recognition accuracy, which is:
- Of 99.8% on the reading of license plates in all weather conditions, night and day.
- Of 98% on reading ADR (Kemler-ONU) tables of vehicles carrying dangerous goods.
- Of 95% on recognition of estimated speed, direction of travel, make, model, color, vehicle type, and helmet presence.
Fog-Fighter
The camera is equipped with a powerful IR illuminator that enables license plate recognition even at night in dense haze.

As standard, the camera comes with 16GB micro SD SLC (Hight Endurance from -40° to + 85°) memory expandable up to 1TB
